Starting School or Moving up to Junior School in September 2027

If you and your child live in Buckinghamshire, and if your child is due to start school or move up to junior school in September 2027, use this portal to apply online between 4 November 2026 and midnight on 15 January 2027.

The outcome of your child’s application will be published on 16 April 2027.

Moving up to Secondary School in September 2027

If you and your child live in Buckinghamshire, and if your child is due to start secondary school (Year 7) in September 2027, use this portal to apply online between 7 September and midnight on 31 October 2026.

The outcome of your child’s application will be published on 1 March 2027.

Late Transfer to Grammar School – Years 8 & 9 in September 2027

If you would like your child to take part in the Late Transfer Process for possible entry to Year 8 or Year 9 in certain Buckinghamshire grammar schools in September 2027 you can apply from 5 October. The closing date for applications is 23 October 2026.
